charged with Highway Robbery by William Garrett< no role > and his Wife
of the Parish of Saint Pancras in
the C ounty of Middlesex Staymaker
; and taken before me Sir Sampson Wright< no role > Knt.
one of his MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 9th. Day of June
17 83.

Who says that on Saturday last between One and Two
o'Clock, he met with Joseph Smith< no role > and William Barker< no role > in
Oxford Street . That they drank together and went from
thence to the Three Tims in Brooks Market where they
Remained drinking till half an hour part Nine o'Clock,
and then went to Paddington . That they staid drinking
at Paddington till half an hour past eleven o'Clock and
on their Return to Tottenham Court Road , were secured.
And further says that he knows not, how or by what
means, Joseph Smith< no role > became possessed of the Leg
of Mutton, or Handkerchief.
