The Information of Elizabeth Randall< no role > of No. 8
Canterbury Court Black Friars Widow taken
before me this 16th. day of August 1782

Who being upon Oath says that on Monday Evening
the 5th. day of August instant about nine oClock as she was coming
along the Islington Road in her way to Canterbury Court aforesaid
she was stopped by five Footpads between Islington and St. John Street Turnpike who robbed her of a Bundle
containing a Cloak, a Petticoat, a Hat, a pair of Shoes, a pair
of silver shoe Buckles and eight shillings in MoneyThat after
having robbed her, three of the said Footpads feloniously
ravished and carnally knew her against her Will and
ConsentAnd further says that she is very sure that a
person now present who calls himself William Mayhew< no role >
is one of the said Five Footpads that robbed her as aforesaid
and that he is also one of the said three Footpads that
ravished her
