The Information of John Tucker< no role > of the Free Masons
Tavern in Great Queen Street Lincolns Inn fields
Servant to Mr. Ridly Keeper of the same taken
before me this 4th. day of July 1782

Who being upon Oath says that on Tuesday Night
last about half past eleven oClock having heard that
some thieves had got into the House of Mrs. Pollard
in Great Queen Street aforesaidhe entered the
sameThat [..] the Watchman whose [..]
[..] Beat is in said Street first
entered the said House and this Informant followed
himThat he perceived a person now present who
calls himself Charles Kelly< no role > come out of the left
hand Parlour who attempted with great Violence
to rush by this Informant and who on this Informants
attempting to stop him wounded this Informant in
the face with a Carving Knife after which said
Kelly rushed amongst the Croud at the Door saying
"Damn my Eyes and Limbs make way" and then
was secured
