Cartdown a Laneback again about half a Mile
towards Town, the shortish Man who first attacked

leading this Informant behind the Cart. That when
they had drove the Cart about half a Mile on the Road,
they went with it into a Field adjorning, where the [..]
shortish Man also led this Informant. That there
the two Men one of whom this Informant believes
to be the said Smith alias Flood, broke open the
Cart and took out all the post Bags, the sportish
Man all the time keeping a Watch over this Informant
with a drawn Cutlass. That after they had taken
out all the Bags they ordered this Informant to get up
into the Cart, upon doing which, they tiedupthis
Informants Hands behind him and fastened him.

That this Informant remained in that Situation in
the Cart some time, but with great Difficulty at last
