in Green Street opposite to the House of Mrs Lewis
that on Friday Evening last about Seven oClock
his Fellow Servant Ann Newell< no role > informed him
that there had been Thieves in Mrs. Lewiss Houo [..]
and that the House had been Robbed upon which she
desired him to acquaint the Servant Maid of Mr
Lewis who was at Mr. Cockburn the next Door
the Man then gave this Informant the Key in
Order to go into the House upon the trying of which
formed the Door Bolted in the Inside upon which
he double Locked the Door to keep the peoples&
immediately three Men Pushed up the parlour Window
Jumped over the Rails and ran away this Informant
with others pursued them and one of them was taken
which is Henry Hart< no role > now present says that a
Silver Salt & Salt Spoon Silver Table Spoon
now produced were found by this Informant behind
the Street Door and says that he verify believes John Maj [..]
now present is one of the Man who came out of the said House in the
[..] at [..]
and this Informant James Rhodes< no role > for himself
saith that on Friday last about Seven oClock in
the Eveing. he was in park Street Grosvenor Square
he heard a Cay of Stop Thief and saw a Man runing
very fast whom he met & took which proved to be
Henry Hart< no role > the person now present
And this Informant William Blackster for herself
saith that he Saw a Room in the House of Mrs. Lewis
in Green Street and says that the four Shirts four
pair of Drawers four pair of Nankeen Breeches three
Waistcoat five Handkerchiefs two night Caps & three
pair of Stockings now produced his property and
were Stolen in the said House among a Quantity a
