The several Informations of Henry
Norfolk and
Lewis Gainford< no role >
Taken the
4th. November 1782.
And first this Informant Henry Norfolk for himself
Saith That about the hour of Two. oClock this morning
he suspects That one Catherine Curtis< no role >
feloniously and privately Stole
from his person Fifteen Shillings in Silver and
a Silk Handkerchief That the reason for his
suspicion is the said Catherine Curtis< no role >
returned him
back the said Silk Handkerchief and told this
Informant She took the same in a Joke
And this Informant Lewis Gainford for
himself saith That he was present at the Green
Man Alehouse
in Broad Street
Saint Giles in
the fields
about the hour of 2. oClock this Morning and
did see the above named Catherine Curtis< no role >
put her hand
into the said Henry Norfolks< no role >
Breeches pocket
and
Take out some Money and saw also some Silver
in her Hand immediately afterwards
