The Information of Joseph Berdow< no role > of
No 1 in Seven-step Alley at Rotherhithe
in the County of Surry Joiner -taken
before me this 17th. day of Novemr.
1781.

Who being on Oath says that this Morning about One
o'Clock at the top of the Hay market , he met three Women
now present who call themselves Margaret Green< no role > ,
Hannah Darts< no role > , and Ann Harris< no role > . That they all three
accosted this Informant-that said Ann Harris< no role > unbuttoned
this Informants breeches and the other two put their
hands round this Informant and thrusted this Informants
hands into their Bosoms That in about the Space of
two Minutes after they had left this Informant, he
missed a Half Guinea out of his breeches pocket,
and a Gosd-Broach out of his Shirt-bosom; and is
very sure that the said three Women feloniously
stole the same.
