make Oath & say, that they these Deponents in conse-
quence of being bound by Recognisence in the several
Sums of Forty-Pounds before John Sherwood< no role >
Esqr. to
appear prosecute, & give Evidence against Richard
Canol for a Felony at the present Old Bailey
Sessions did attend in the Old Bailey
Session-Yard
in order thereto on [..] the 7th. Instant from 9
o'Clock in the Morning till 2 o'Clock in the Afternoon
& being extremely cold, & seeing that there were 7
prisoners to be tried before Richard Canol, they Slept
into the George Ale horse opposite the Sessions Yard
to warm themselves, that after having warmed, &
refresh'd themselves with Breed & Cheese, again
return'd, not being absent above half an hour, & they
unfortunately found that Richard Canol was brought
up during this then Absence. And these Deponents further
say that they did not absent themselves by reason of
any Agreement a Composition with the said Richd.

Deponent Mary Beven saith Rot she is but a fear
servant, & is now under the necessity of maintain-
ing a sick Father.
