on Oath before me one of his Majestys Justices
of the peace for the said County of Middlesex
this 17th. August 1781.
This Informant Sarah Lawrence< no role >
saith that on the 15th.
day of August instant there was feloniously stolen out of
her Apartment in a House in Long Alley
Shoreditch
in the said
County one pair of Stays and one green Stuff Petticoat her
property and further said that she very believes and
suspects that one Mary Wood< no role >
is the person who stole the
same And this Informant William Peavely saith that
he is a Pawnbroker and lives in Long alley
aforesaid and
that the said Mary Wood< no role >
on the [..] said fifteenth day of
August instant pawned one green stuff Petticoat with
this Informant for three Shillings And the saidMary
Wood
Sarah Lawrence< no role >
further said that the Green Petticoat
pawned with the said William Peavely< no role >
and now produced
by him and shecon to thisExaminantInformant is the same Petticoat
which was Stolen out of thisupInformants Apartment
as aforesaid
