The several Informations of Catherine Jones< no role >

Dowling

Mary Winter< no role > and Edwards Tredway< no role > Taken
and made on Oath before me Charles Triquet
Esquire one of his Majestys Justices of the
peace for the said County of Middlesex the
24th. day of April 1781

And first this Informant Catherine Jones< no role > for
herself Saith that she has been Robbert of a Large
Quantity of Linnen and Wearing Apparell by some persons
or persons who in her absence broke open the Cock of
her Lodging room in the Dwelling house of Mary Russell< no role >
Situate in the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields and having
a Suspicion that it was done by some person who lodges
in the said House she this Informant obtained a Search
Warrant from Justice Triquet to Search the Lodging rooms
of the Lodgers in the said Mary Russells< no role > House

And this Informant Edwards Tredway Saith
That he is a Constable and that on the 20th. day of April
last in Consequence of a Search Warrant he went to the
House of the said Mrs. Russell and in Searching the Lodging
room of one Mary Nash< no role > found a quantity of Trimming
for Gowns which the said Catherine Jones< no role > declaring to be
her property he the said Edward Tredway< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. took the said
Mary Nash< no role > into his Custody when she confessed to him
That she had Stolen the said things and had sold them to
different persons.

And this Informant said Smith for herself
Saith That about the 11th. Instant She Bought a Lace
Handkerchief and a plain of and some other things of
the said Mary Nash< no role > for Four shillings

And this Informant Mary Garrett< no role > for herself
