Who being on Oath say and first the said Sarah Layton< no role >
for
herself, that on Thursday evening last a Person now present
who calls herself Margaret Morgan< no role >
, came into this Informants
shop in Princes Street
Westminster
, bought a pair of Stockings
and went away That about half an hour afterwards, she came
again, cheapened two other pair, but not having Money enough
did not buy any. That as soon as she was gone she
missed eight pair of Stockings now produced and which
Stockings are this Informants property. And the said Sarah
Gosling< no role >
for herself says, that on Thursday evening last, she
took in pledge the two pair of Stockings now produced by this
Informant and (as she verily believes) from the said Margaret
Margaret to whom she lent two Shillings on them. And the
said William Skinner< no role >
says that when the said Margaret Morgan< no role >
was Taken into custody on Thursday evening last, he saw
the six pair of Stockings now produced by the said Sarah
Layton< no role >
taken from her.
