Stanmores that about Eight o Clock in the Evening
on the High Road Just before they came to Kilburn they
were Attacked by a Single Highwayman and he went to
the side of the Chaise on which the other Informant
Rosamond Redmond< no role > sat with pistolin thewhich he
thinks was held in his left hand and demanded their
Moneys upon Mrs Redmans telling him they had none
& he still insisting he must have same this Informant
bid him come round to his side of the Chaise which he did
when he severe and demanded some Silver to take him
to Town telling this Informant he had been Shot upon
which this Informant gave him an half Crown and
one Shilling that in going him the Money this Informt
saw his hand Bloody and by touching of it received some
blood upon his own hand and there were likewise some
Drops upon this Informants Waistcoat And this Informt
further saith that form the Voice Statute Dress and
the Sleeves of his Coat being Shattered & Town he does
verily believe that the person now present who calls
himself John Knowles< no role > is the person who Stopped &
Robbed him when saith & the other Informant at the time & in
the manner aforesaid

And this Informant Jasper Keble< no role > for himself saith
that he have the post Chaise in which the other Informt
Robert Leigh< no role > & Rosimond Redman< no role > were upon last
Monday was sen' night that about Eight o Clock in
the Evening near the threw Mile Stone just on the
other side Hilburn when the Chaise was Stopped by a
Single Highwayman who went first on the one Side &
then on the other and demanded then Money that this
Informant cannot speak positively to his person both
observed at the time that the left Sleeve of his Coat
was very much shattered and his shirt hang out and
this Informant further saith that from the Voice
and the Coat now producedhe believeas the Coat of the
person was present who calls himself John Knowles< no role >
he believes the said John Knowles< no role > to be the person who
stopped and Robbed the Chaise he was [..] at the
time & place aforesaid and saith that he heard the
person who Robbed the Chaise say that he had been Shot
