Parish of St. Giles in the Fields and
in the said County of Middlesex
Salesman Taken upon Oath
before me Joseph Girdler< no role > Esqr
one of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex this 31st. Day
of January 1775

This Informant upon his Oath saith
that a man who calls himself by the Name
of James Crompton< no role > did as he verity believes
feloniously take and carry away one
Flannell Waistcoat faced with Crimson
Satten which was hanging at his Shop
Window in Middle Row aforesaid as is
assertain'd by James Shurlock< no role > who saw the
said James Crompton< no role > take the said
Waistcoat from his Shop window aforesaid
