which she gave to this Informant & then asked her
for something for her Trouble & this Informant gave
her a Shilling & then went home to her Lodgings
that about a Week after, this Informant carried
two other Red Leather Pocket Books with large
Silver Clasps. to the said Sarah Wades< no role > House
& she brought them of her in her little back Parlour
for four Shillings and Six pence which Money she
gave to William Boyle< no role > . that about a Week after
this Informant carried two other Red Leather Books
One with Silver Clasps & the other Sticked with Silver
round the Edges. & a Silver Clasps to the said Sarah
Wade
< no role > s House she being in Trouble this Informant
left them with Her Maid Servant who told her to
come that Night which she did but Mrs. Wade not being
at home did not receive any Money this Informant sent
the Next Night and received One Shilling from the Maid
& this Informant went on the Sunday Morning & found Mrs
Wade in Bed who told her that she was obliged to have
the Books removed out of their House for fear, it should
be searched & gave this Informant Six pence & desired
her to come in the Evening [..] shedidwent in the
Evening and received another Shilling & received
anotherShillingon the Mondaythis Informant further
saith that when she carried the said Pocket Books to
the said Sarah Wade< no role > told her that she had them
from her Husband (meaning the said William Boyle< no role >
otherwise Burnham).
