The Information of Edward Parker< no role > taken before me this 27th.
day of July 1774.

Who being upon Oath says that he knows William Gadsby< no role > William Wickstead< no role >
a man whose name he does not know and one Henry Jordan< no role > . Says that this
night was a fortnight the said William Gadsby< no role > William Wickstead< no role > and this Informant
robbed Wm. Nettleton (whom he just now saw) between Kennington common
and the swan at Stockwell of a Silver Watch two or 3 Guineas and some
Silver says he this Informant sold the said Watch to the said Henry
Jordan
< no role > whom he met in Dukes place for fifteen shillings says they
went from Newtoners Lane the evening they committed the Robbery and
drank half a Pint of Gin at a Public house near Westminster Bridge
says he hath been informed that one Joseph Taylor< no role > is now in Custody
in the New Goal Southwark being charged by the said Mr. Nettleton
as being one of the said three Footpads who had robbed him that he
utterly denies having the least knowledge of the said Joseph Taylor< no role >
and that the said Taylor neither knew nor was he privy directly or indirectly
to the robbery of Mr Nettleton as aforesaid. Says that on a Friday night
the beginning of this month the said William Wickstead< no role > the said Man whose
name he does not know and this Informant robbed a Man and
Woman in a Hackney Coach near Kensington Gravel Pits of a
Metal Watch Gilt makers name John Aldridge< no role > No.45," a Silver Seal
Impression I A, & about 10 shillings, says the said man whose name he
does not know sold the Seal, and this Informant sold the said Watch
to the said Henry Jordan< no role > for Eleven Shillings says the said Jordan
well know the said Watches had been stolen.
