at Charing Cross [..] across the way near the Kings Mews where James
Shendan & William Harding< no role > knocked him down and
Shendan took out a knife & swore that he would cut
his Head off & took a Silver Watch out of his
pocket with a Street Chair & a Silver Seal best
hearing some person coming along they did not take any
Money but can away & left him upon the ground
they then all three went home to the Lodgings of
this Informant and William Harding< no role > in Buckendge
Street Saint Giles in going home at the bottom of the
Haymarket they met a Man whom they knewby
the Name of the Grocer & they asked him if he could
sell a Trick (meaning a Watch) for them he answered
Yes [..] the next Morning
about Nine o'Clock he came & took the Watch from
this Informant the said James Shandan & Wm. Harding< no role > being then polsen & then the Grocer [..]
& Wm. Harding< no role > went together to Pawn the said Watch
and left this Informant & James' Shendon at home
and the said William Harding< no role > returned to phimeelf
& told this Informant and James Shendam that they
had pauned the Watch for his three Shillings & brought
to them twenty One Shillings & they Grocer took
the Silver Seal & very he would allowed them half a Crown for it
the One twenty Shillings as divided between
this Informant & James Shindan & Harding
& the Grocer had the Seal & two Shillings more for
his trouble but where the said Watch was
pawned this Informant cannot tell but that the
Watch now produced is the Watch taken from the person
knocked down near the Kings Mews on Friday last was a Fortnight as
above related
