The Information of John
Potter
< no role > , Joseph Dalby< no role > Samuel
West
< no role > and John Chandler< no role >
taken before us two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County

Who being severally upon Oath say and first
this Informant John Potter< no role > for himself saith
that last Friday Might was a fortnight about
between Six and Seven o Clock he came out of
the Black horse Alehouse at Charing Cross &
went to wants spring Garden and he observed three
Lade which from the height and Dress he believes
to be the three person was present who call themselves
William Harding< no role > James Sherdan & Henry
Green
< no role > and this Informant crossed over from spring
Garden towards Hodge Lane & Just as he got upon
the Curb Stone he received two Blows from two of the
said persons which brought him to the Ground
upon his Face and then the two person laid hold
of his Anne & hoped he had not hurt himself
& pretended to help himself but he felt his Watch
[..] was taken out of his Pocket upon which this
Informant Ran after the Shortest of the said these
persons which the believes to be the said William
Harding
< no role > . And this Informant further saith that
the Silver Watch Steel Chair Key & Seal all
now Produced are the property of this Informant
and is the same which was taken from him by
the said three persons at the time he was so
knocked down as aforesaid

And this Informant Joseph Dalby< no role > for himself
saith that last Friday Night was fortnight abt
Eight o'Clock at the bottom of the Haymerchant he
met the three person now present who call themselves
James Shendon William Handing & Henry Green< no role >
they asked if he would pawn a Watch for them & he told
