Walter Davidson< no role > of the Parish of Saint John
Westminster Soldier and John Fox< no role > of the Parish
of Saint Giles in the County of Middlesex Labourer
Severally Make Oath and Say that the said
Walter was about the Latter [..] of Febry last bound
over to prosecute the said Elizabeth for Stealing
one Guinea & some Silver from him the said
Walter and the said John Bound< no role > over to [..]
give Evidence at the then following April Session
And were Ordered to Attend at Hicks Hall on
Monday the 19th - of said April And Say that
they Attended there the Whole Day accordingly
and thought they should have been Called
And thro Ignorance did nothing more than
Attend not knowing they were to do any thing
else And both on their Oaths Say they did
not Omit preparing a Bill (as they are
Since told they ought to have done) with any
Design or Intention to Screen the said Elizabeth
from Justice But the same was merely this their
not knowing what to do
