Who being upon Oath says that he knows Thomas Benson< no role >
John Shakespeare< no role >
Thomas Page< no role >
one Thomas whose Surname is unknown and Sarah Howill
that on Monday Night last this Informant stole a Box Coat and two pair
of Rims out of the Hat & Tun yard in Hatton Garden
which he sold on
Tuesday to a Jew whom he does not know for three Shillings, that about
three Weeks ago the said Thomas whose Surname he does not know and this
Informant stole three pair of Breeches two Waistcoats three pair of
Stockings five handkerchief and some Neckcloths and a pair of Silver Shoe
Buckles and a pair of Silver knee Buckles, three pair of Shoes and two
pair of plated Buckles and a Shirt and two Silver Hat bands out of the
Stables of his Grace the Duke of Chandois at Asington in Hampshire
which things were sold most of them to a Jew at No. 4 in a Street in Portsmouth
Which is Mostly inhabited by Jew, and that a pair of Breeches and a pair
of Shoes were sold to a Jew who keeps a Shop in Gosports, that some time
ago the said Thomas Page< no role >
and this Informant stole a Silver Watch
and a great Coat in Doctors Commons
which Coat was pawned by this
Informant in Stone cutter Street Fleet Market
and the said Watch
was pawned by the said Thomas Page< no role >
in Norton Falgate
, that a few
days before the last mentioned Robbery the said Thomas Page< no role >
and this
Informant stole two great Coats in White Friers
one of which was
afterwards pawned by the said Thomas Page< no role >
& John Shakespeare< no role >
in Fetter
Lane and that the said John Shakespeare< no role >
kept the other Coat himself &
gave this Informant three Shillings for his Share, that some time
before the last mentioned Robbery the said Thomas Benson< no role >
