Who being Oath say and first the said Charles Jacob Sheffield< no role >
for himself says that on Friday Night last he was robbed between
Knightsbridge
and Kensington
of some Money and Gold Watch with
a Gold Chain and a red Cornelian Seal set in Gold Impression CJS
in a Cypher, says that the Seal now produced by the said William
Morris< no role >
is the same Seal of Which he was robbed as aforesaid, and
that he does verily believes that two pieces of a Gold Chain now
produced by Robert Cross< no role >
and Elizabeth Groves< no role >
are parts of the said
Gold Chain of which he was robbed as aforesaid, and the said
William Morris< no role >
for himself says that on Saturday last he
bought the said Seal of a person who brought it to the Shop of
Mr. Heather in Newgate Street
and that he does verily believe
that a person now present who calls himself George Brown< no role >
is the Person of whom he bought the said Seal
