Peace
for the said County
Who being upon Oath say and first this Informt
Bartholomew Ryan< no role >
for himself saith that on
Saturday Morning least about 11 o'Clock he together
with the other Informant Thomas Kelly< no role >
&
John Egan< no role >
. a person now present were in Company
together in a Public House in Holborn & Drank
a Pint of Been & offered a Portugal Piece of Gold
Coin of the Value of four shillings & Six pence to the
Land lord the Change
& he said that he could not change
it & whilst this Informant held the said
four Shilling & Six penny peice between his
finger & his Thumb the said John Egan< no role >
snatched it from him & say'd that he would go
and get it changed but after Waiting three hours
the said John Egan< no role >
did not return And this
Informant further saith that he verily believes
the said John Egan< no role >
took the said four Shilling
& Six Pence from him with an Intent to Steal
it
And this Informant Thomas Kelly< no role >
for
himself saith that he was Present the whole
time and confirms the whole of the above
