County City & Liberty
Who saith that Yesterday afternoon about
four o'Clock a parson now present who calls
herself Margaret Picon brought to this Examinant
Shop in Hog Lane
an Iron anvil two Iron
Hammers and a Sledge Tool now produced & offered
her them to sell & sayd that she had found them
in an Empty House where she had been at work
[..] among some Publish upon which this
Examinant took the said Iron anvil< no role >

Tool and one of the said Hammersandand put them
into her scale & weighed them & they weighed
Forty three pounds & agreed to give the said Margaret
Rice< no role >
one farthing per pound for the said forty three
Pounds but did actually give her the Sum of
one Shilling for the whole and for the other
Hammer this Examinant gave her three pences
half penny without weighing of it and the Examinant
further saith that her Husband John Dunk< no role >
actually is & has been for some years constantly
employed as a portes to Mr. Saunders an up holden
who now lives in Charlotte Sheet Bloomsbury
and
has not nor ever had any concern or connection in
managing or carrying on the Business of a Dealer
in Iron or Rage but that the same is wholly
carried on and managed by this Examinant alone
