The Information of Thomas

before me this 12th. day of Augst. 1771

Who being upon Oath say [..] and first the said
Thomas Lowden< no role > for himself says that on Wednesday
Night last after the hour of 6 a Mare his property
was stolen out of a field near Hatfield in Hertfordshire
which Mare he has this day seen in the Possession of the
said Lawrence Garlick< no role > and the Said Lawrence Garlick< no role >
for himself says that on Thursday Morning last before 9
o'Clock a
person now present who calls himself Robert Walker< no role >
brought the Said Mare to his Stables with a halter only
and sold her to this Informant and these Informants
further say that they do verily believe the said Robert
Walker< no role > stole the said Mare
