Who on his Oath Saith that on the 26th day
of July last he was present in a field near

a Woman whose Name appears to be Elizh.

& Search'd heruntied her Apron
& petticoats& forcibly took from her her
pockets which Contained two pounds of
Tea tied up in two different Handkerchiefs
& having taken the Tea so tied up in the
Handkerchiefs out of her pockets as a Severe to the King
the sd. Elizabeth demanded of him her
pockets & the remaining Contents which was Two
Shillings & Six Pence a Silver Thimble two
or three pen knives & an old Handkerchief
but the sd. Newton held them up in his
hand & declared he woud keep all he had
got & accordingly did take & Carry away
the sd. pockets with the sd Money and
other Contents as aforesd.
