Who being upon Oath say and first the said William

for himself says that he knows a person now
present who calls himself Joseph Hawkins< no role >
who owed
him Money, that on the first day of May Instant he
gave Cash for a twenty pound Bank Note to a person
now present who calls himself William Kenny< no role >
at the
Recommendation and in the presence of the Said Joseph
Hawkins< no role >
now present and that the Money owing to him
from the said Joseph Hawkins< no role >
was paid to this Informt.
out of the Money which he gave for the said Note and
the Said John Valler< no role >
for himself says that he changed a
Bank Note for the said William Webster< no role >
and that the
Number of the said Note is No. H. 144 payable to John
Drummond< no role >
