The Information of the Honourable Mr.
Edward Stratford< no role > taken before me this
23rd. day of January 1771

Who being upon Oath says that in the Night between Saturday the
12th. Sunday the 13th. of January Instant his house in South Park
Street was feloniously and burglariously broke and entered and that
a pair of Diamond Buckles now produced several Rings a pair of
Gloves a Quantity of wearing Apparel now produced as also a Quantity of
Silver Plate and other things his property were then stolen from
thence; that a person now present who calls himself John Cannon< no role >
lately lived Servant with him and that he has Cause to believe and
does verily believe that the said John Cannon< no role > is one of the
persons who broke open his house and stole his Goods as aforesaid
