The Examination and Voluntary Information of Edward Taylor< no role >
taken in Writing before us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace in and for the said County the 23d day of August in the Year
of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventy

Who saith that about the Sixteenth of Seventeenth day of July last
he this Informant and one Christopher Moreton< no role > about Twelve o'Clock
in the forenoon went to Stepney and lifted up the sash Frame or
Window of a House adjoining to the Church Yard there Saith that the
said Christopher Moreton< no role > went in at the said Window into the said
House and carried there four or five Minutes and then came out
at the same Window and brought out with him four Red Silk
Handkerchief one White Sattin Cloak or Cardinal and one Apron
saith that he and the said Christopher Moreton< no role > went from thence
and carried the said four Handkerchief White Sattin Cloak or Cardinal
and the said Apron to the House of one Ann Chambers< no role > in Rosemary
Lane White Chapel who bought the same of them for seven Shillings
Saith that the next day about Twelve or one Clock in the forenoon
he this Informant and the said Christopher Moreton< no role > went again to
Stepney and lifted up the Sash Frame or Window of the same time
adjoining to the Church Yard aforesaid [..] Saith that the
said Christopher Moreton< no role > then went in at the Window into the House
and staid there a little Time and came out again and brought out
with him Seven blue Silk Handkerchief in a piece one Silver punch
Bowl four Silver Table Spoons and one Silver Punch ladle
Saith that he and the said Christopher Moreton< no role > went from thence
and carried the said Handkerchiefs Silver Punch Bowl four Silver
Table Spoons and the said Silver Punch Ladle to their Lodgings at
one Mr. Carrs in Nightingale Lane , and shewed the same to her
saith that the said Mr. Carr then said she would buy the said Silver
Punch Ladle and one of the said Silver Table Spoons of them because not [..]
Marked and therefore no person could swear to it Saith that they
accordingly sold the said Silver Punch Ladle and one of the said Silver
Table Spoons to the said Mr. Carr for Six Shillings but received only
four Shillings Saith that he this Informant and the said Christopher
Moreton
< no role > them went from the House of the said Mrs. Carr to the House
or Lodgings Punch Bowl and three of the said Silver Table Spoons with
them and asked the said Catherine Graham< no role > to sell the same for them
saith that the said Catherine Graham< no role > took the said Silver Punch Bowl
and the said three Silver Table Spoons from them, and went away and carried
about three or four hours and then came book and gave them two
Guineas for the said Silver Punch Bowl and the said three Silver Table
