Be it Remembred that at the Assizes and General Goal Delivery of our Lord the King holden
at Chelmsford in and for the County of Essex on Tuesday the Twenty eight Day of February in the
Ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God now King of Great
Britain Etc Before Sir Sidney Stafford Smythe< no role > Knight one of the Barows of his Majesty's Court of Exchequer
and Richard Leigh< no role > Serjeant at Law and others their fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to deliver
the Goal of the said County of the Prisoners therein being by the Oaths of John Bullock< no role > Esquire Bamber Gascoyne< no role > Esquire
William Wright< no role > Esquire Jacob Hublon Junior Esquire John Tyrrell< no role > Esquire John Strutt< no role > Esquire Joseph Keeling< no role > Esquire

of the said County of Essex Then and there Sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the King and the Body
of the said County It is Presented in manner and form following that is to say (Essex) The Jurors for our head the King upon
their Oath Present that John Lambden< no role > late of the Parish of Westham in the County of Essex Labourer on the
Twentieth Day of September in the Eighth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third now King
of Great Britain Etc with Force and Arms at the Parish aforesaid in the County aforesaid in the Kings highway
there in and upon Peter Bigot< no role > Esquire in the Peace of God and our said Lord the King then and there being feloniously
did make an Assault and him the said Peter Bigot< no role > in Corporal fear and Danger of his Life in the Kings
Highway aforesaid then and there feloniously did put and one Watch with the inside Case and outside Case both made
of Pinchbeck Metal of the value of Jas Shillings One Red Seal Set in Pinchbeck Metal of the Value of Six pence one Peice of Gold Coin of the Proper Coin of this Realm Called a Guinea of the
Value of Twenty one Shillings and one other Peice of Gold Coin of the Proper Coin of this Realm called a Quarter of a Guinea
of the value of Five Shillings and three Pence of the Goods and Chattles and Monies of the said Peter Bigot< no role > in the Kings highway
aforesaid from the Person and against the will of the said Peter Bigot< no role > then and there Violently and feloniously did Steal take and carry away
against the Peace of our said Lord the King his Crown and dignity Wherefore the Sheriff of the County of Essex aforesaid
is Commanded that he Omit not upon Account of any Liberty in his Bail [..] but that he take the said John
Lambden

Afterwards (to wit) at the exclaim Delivery of the Goal of our said Lord the King holden for the said County of Essex
at Chelmsford aforesaid in the said County on the said Tuesday the Twenty eighth Day of February in the said
