in and for the said
County City and Liberty
Who being upon his Oath Saith That this Day being
Salm day the 25th. March 1769 he was directed by
Mr. Cornilious Dolling ot Receives £3.9s. from Mr.
Edward Maginnes< no role >
in Discharge of his Note of Strand
which this informant was the be over of by Order [..]
of the said a Mr Cornelious Dolling< no role >
- upon this
Informants being Asked by the said Magennis
to produce the said Note, under Pretence of [..]
when it be came deced and on this Informant
producing the said Note. He the said Magennis
immediately Snatched it out of the Hand of this
Informant. feloniously; and without his have
and Consent, telling him that he the said Maginnes
would Sooner Go to the Marshal a then Pay the
same and has every since refused to deliver
back the said Note or to pay the Money in discharge
thereof - the Often and repeatedly required by this Informant
so to do; To which he this Informant received for
Answer that As he had get the Note in his Pocket
he this Informant and Also Mr. Dolling to whom
the said Note was payable might both go and be
dawne'd for that he wou'd keep the said Note himself,
