and Thomas Wright< no role > for Forgery

Jonathan Hall< no role > the above Defendant Maketh Oath That
George Humphreys< no role > is a Material Witness for this
Dept. in his Defence on the above Prosecutions and
without whose Testimony he cannot safely to he his
Tryalls. That he this Deponent was last Tuesday
night brought to Town of upon a Hale as Corpus and the
next Day brought before Sir John Fielding< no role > when on
hearing the Charge against him found it necessary for him
to have the said George Humphrys< no role > a Witness on his
Tryales and accordingly he made and Caused to be made diligent Surgery after the said
George for the above purpose and on such Inquiry
was Informed that the said George Humphrys< no role > is gone
to Gloucester and roout be in Town for same Days
[..] which Information he believes to be Five
And further Saith that he believes he shall be able
and will do his Endeavours to have him at the next
Session as Witness for this Deponent on the above
prosecutions
