Robert Dent< no role > of Fleet Street London Banker one of the
Prosecutors in this Cause maketh Oath that the said Mary
Barnet
< no role > stands charged for feloniously publishing as true two
certain Bills of Exchange purporting to be the Bills of Exchange
of Robert Piggot< no role > Esquire upon Child and Company for Fifty
Pounds each knowing the same to be forged with Intention to
defraud Robert Child< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Robert Lovelace< no role > this Deponent and John
Church
< no role > against the Statute And this Deponent saith that the said
Thomas Grindall< no role > stands charged on Suspicion of having been
concerned in feloniously and falsely making forging and
counterfieting the said two Prills of Exchange with the like
Intention against the Statute And this Deponent saith that it
appeared upon the Examination of the said Defendants before Sir
John Fielding< no role > Knight that the said two Bills of Exchange were
sent by the Post from Stilton in Huntingdonshire inclosed in
Letters purporting to have been wrote by the said Robert Piggot< no role >
who lives near there to the said Defendant Mary Barnet< no role > who
then lived in Phoenix Court Long Acre And this Deponent
saith that the said Forgerys and Publications was [..] Transactions
of so much Intricacy as to have occasioned many necessary
Inquirys to be made in Huntingdon shire since the said
Defendants were committed to Prison to enable this Deponent
and his said Partners to carry on the Prosecutions with
effect against the said Defendants for which reason this Deponent
and his said Partners haven of been able to lay proper Evidence
before the Grand Jury as this Deponent is advised and verily
believes to find Indictments against the said Defendants to be
tried at this present Session And this Deponent Saith that on
the Examinations before Sir John Fielding< no role > lately had
