Garden Victualer and Thomas Ryley< no role > of the same Place
Poulterer Swerally Make Oath and and Say That on or
about the Ninth day of September last they these Deponents
became Bail for the above Defendant before Sir John Fielding< no role >
for an Assault only as they Apprehended and Beleived Committed
by the said John Neal< no role > on one James Mackoun< no role > And these
Deponents further severally say That they were Informed the
said James Mackoun soon after Departed this Life and that
the Coroners Inquest which sat on his Body brought in
their Verdict Manslaughter and these Deponents further
Severally Say That they were Informed and verily Beleive
the same to be True That during the Illness of the said James
Mackoun
< no role > Mrs Mackoun the Mother of the Deceased Sent
her Waiter to the House of this Deponent Dempsey to
Acquaint the Defendant to Keep out of the Way as her Son
was Extreamly Ill and there upon the Defendant who was
in the Tap Room Head the Waiter mention the same and
as these Deponents are likewise Informed and Beleive
Immediately Asconded without the Knowledge or Privity
of these Deponents or either of them and these Deponents
Possitively Say that they Know not where he is nor what
is become of him Buton these Deponents bring Informed
a Bill of Indictment for Murder was found against him
