The Information of George Stubbs< no role > George
[..] and Thomas Griffiths< no role > taken
before Us two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the sd. County

Who being severally sworn upon Oath say first this Deponent
the sd. George Stubbs< no role > [..] for himself saith that on Tuesday the
thirty first day of May 1768 this Informt discovered that the
Look of his Burean and Cloutin the Parlour had been broke
open & that a Bag with Money & has been Money was
missing, that it appeared that the Window Shutters of the
back Kitchen Window were open & the upper Sack down
& there appeared to be the Print of a foot on the Sill of the
Window and that the Money taken away was upwards
of fifty Guineas. And this Informant Thomas Griffiths< no role >
for himself saith that on Tuesday Morning the 31st. day of
May 1768 abt. half an hour after two of the Clock this
Informant being the Watchman upon the Stand at the
Corner of Mr Stubbs's house, a Person came out of the sd.
Mr Shubbe's house and asked him to light a Candle
was this Informant did and the said Person then went
into the sd. Mr Stubbs's house & that the Door after him
that the sd. Person soon afterward came out again &
