Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said Thomas
Gloucester< no role >
for himself saith that on Saturday last he recd. from
the other Informt. Mathews a Bill of Exchange now produced
purporting to be the Bill of Exchange of Samuel Warner< no role >
in favour of William Harrison< no role >
or Order for Ten pounds and Indorsed
Wm. Harrison as a true one and Informant Hugh Mathews for
himself faith that on Saturday last he recd. form a Person now
present who calls himself Kiohd. Holt the said Bill of Exchange
in Order to carry to the aforesaid John Town< no role >
and John Burbank< no role >
and this Informant Thomas Gloncester for himself for farther
says that he enquire at House of Hinton Brown< no role >
and Son
on whom said Bill was made payable and found they
did not keep Cash for any such Person as Samuel Warner< no role >
form all which circumstance he suspects and verily believes
that the aforesd. Bill is falsely made forget and Counterfeited
and that it was published by the said Holt knowing it to
be so with Intent to Cheat and Defraud the said Mr. Town
and Burbank
