akenhead taken before me this 18th.
day of July 1768

Who being upon Oath says that on Thursday Night last a little
past 10 as he was going over the fields from Lord Baltimore's to
Tottenham Court Road three persons came up to him and one of
them bid him Stop which this Informant refused to do and ran
away, that one of the said three persons fired a pistol at this
Informant and Shot away part of one of his Buttons, and this
Informant further Says that he does verily believe that the Said
three Persons intended to rob him this Informant
