Who being upon Oath says that on or about the 5th. day of Feb:
last a Person now present who calls himself Lewis Gwillim< no role >
but
who then called himself William Adams< no role >
came to this Informt. at his shop
Purchaced a set of Books of him of the Price of Nine pounds and
then and there published to him as True a Bill of Exchange now
produced purporting to be the Bill of Exchange of Edward Watkins< no role >
upon Mr. Gaft Grocer< no role >
in Portland Street
for sixteen pounds sixteen
Shillings and this Informt. farther says that from his enquiry of the
said Mr. Gaft and for other reasons he verily believes the said
Bill of Exchange to be falsly made Forged and Counterfeited and
that it was Published to him by the said Lewis Gwillim< no role >
otherwise
Adams knowing it to such with Intent to Defraud this Informt.
