Servant to James Lord< no role > Stop ford taken
before me this 15th. day of Decr. 1766

Who being upon says that some time in June last as he was
attending his Lordship and his Lady they being in a Chaise
and this Informant on Horseback upon Twickenham Common
they were Attack to by a Single Highway man who Robbed Lord
Stopford of Some Money and afterwards demanded this
Informants Money but he refused to give him any and
farther says that a Person new present who calls himself
Timothy Iredale< no role > he is very sure is the same Person
that assaulted and Robbed his Lordship as aforesaid
for that it was quits day Light when the Robbers was done
