Who being upon Oath severally says and first the said George Hale< no role >
for
himself saith that on Monday Morning last about Ten
of the Clock [..]
Thomas Smith< no role >
now present run up Stairs
to his Room being in the same house this Informant
Lodges in at which time he had dirty boots on and [..]
he believes the same Surtont Coat he now has on, says
that having heard the same Morning of several Coaches
being Robbed on Finchley Common
he immediately
suspected said Smith to be the Person who had Committed
said Robberies and now he believes it, And this Informant
Vincent Wcock for himself saith that he also suspects said
Smith hath been Guilty of several Highway Robberies says
that one day last Week, this Informant lodging in the
next room to him, he looked thro' a hole in the Wainscot
and saw said Smith sitting upon his Bed loading a Brace
of Pistols and that he gave one of them into the hand
of a Woman he lives with now present
