The Information of Thos. Piggot< no role > Servant
to William Jones< no role > of Cheap side Glove r
taken before me this 16th. Apl. 1764

Who being upon Oath says that a Person now present who
calls himself Edward Trudon< no role > came to this Informant at his
Masters House in Cheapside aforesaid and then and the
Published as True a promissory Note now produced purporting
to be the promissery Date of Henry Jaffray< no role > to Mr. Trud on or Order
for thirty pounds bearing date 10th. February 1764 , knowing
the same to be false forged and Counterfeild as he verily believes
says that the [..] day [..] the said Note became due, the
said Trudon paid to [..] is Informant sixteen pounds seven
Shillings in part of the said Thirty pounds, which he this
Informt. had advanced said Trudon by way of discount, for
said Note when published to him in manner aforesaid
