Esquire Acknowledge Themselves to be indebted to our Sovereign Lord the King in
the Sums of forty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be levied on
their severall Goods & Chattells Lands & Tenements of such of them as shall

The Condition of this Recognizance is such that it the above bound on Thorn

severally personally appear at the next Sessions of the Peace to be [..]
Hicks Hall Saint Johns Street in & for the County of Middlesex & there [..]
or cause to be preferred to the Grand Jury one or more Bills of Indictment against Wit [..]
Darvil for the Murder of John Lee< no role > and also against William Pentlowe< no role > to [..]
aiding assisting abetting comforting & maintaining the said William Dar [..]
the said John Lee< no role > to kill & murder & do severally appear [..]
such Bill or Bills of Indictment And in Case the said Bill or Bills of Indictment
Face Bill or Bills that then they do severally personally appear at the one &
Delivery to be held for the said County at Justices Hall in the Old Bayly London
severally to give Evidence to the Jury that shall pass on the Tryal of the said
Darvil & William Pentlowe touching the premisses And in Case the said Bill [..]
shall be returned by the Grand Jury, not found, Then that They severally appear at [..]
Sessions of Goal Delivery & give Evidence to the Jury that shall pass upon the Tryall of the
