Gerdalle had on a Scarlet Banyan, and had a black Patch over
his left Eye, and a bump and red spot and seemed in great
Confusion and Disorder, and that she never saw her Mistress after
Nine o'Clock on Thursday the 19th. of February last

The Deponent produced to the Jury a Shirt with the Letters I.G.
Markt in Thread on it, which she said was taken out of Gerdalle
draw in his Apartment, and a Night Shift which the Deponent
said she Aird for her Mistress on Wednesday the 18th, of February
last, on both of which there appeared marks of Blood

Widow on her Oath says that she was hired by Gerdalle to
Clean the House of the Deced on Monday the 23d. of February
last, that she found in a Tub of Water in the said House a
Quantity of Linnen, a Coverlid and two Blankets, which had
Several Stains as the there had been Blood on them, that she was
not Suffered to go into Mrs. King's Apartment, nor in the back Garrett
that Deponent offered to light the Fire for Gerdalle in the
Garrett, but Gerdalle would light it himself
