The Information of Samuel Harper< no role > Esqr . Taken before
me Etc.

Who being on Oath says that on the 28th. of Decr.. 1756 as his
he was setting in his Chames. by himself at No..7, Lincoln's Inn
New Square a Person came in to him about a Quarter after [..]
in the Evening & asked for Mr.. Robert Harper< no role > and yt. on this Informt
Telling him that he was not at Home & asking him if he had
any particular Business with Mr. Robt.. Harper that he coud. be a [..]
with this Informant, he sd.. no and left the Room And farther says
that within a few Minutes after the aforesaid Person return'd
Opened the door & came into the Room of this Informant and
Offered a paper in the Form of a Letter Directed to Robert Hary
Esqr [..] Lincoln's Inn New Square , immediately after which
he put out the Candle Seized this Informant & holding a Stier
over his Head Demanded his Watch & Money; Says, that he th [..]
Gave him a Gold Watch with a Shagreen Case, one Guinea in Go [..]
and some Silver, And this Informant farther says that the [..]
now produced is the Pentical Watch Taken from him in the
Manner above Described, and Says, that he veryly believes that
a Person now present who Calls himself John Howland< no role > is the
very Person who came into the Chambers of this Informant as
aforesd.. and by Horse & Violence Took from him the Watch
and Money above mentioned
