Court Road Widow upon her Oath That on Wednesday
the eighth instant the was coming down Hampstead
Hill to London and near the CartWaggonand Horses the
deceased passed her and spoke to her he being in the Horse
road and at that instant observed From Carts and Horse
coming after her down the Kill and when the first Saw then the first
of them was a few Yards from the deceased and at that
time the Carter was on the off side running by the
Side of his Horses which were on a Trot, and at that
instant the deceased was in the Thames of the read
done to the Banks believes prevented by some Trees from seeing him endeavouring to get up into the Footway
but afterwards saw him struggling to get upon ye Bown his
but he could not dose and the Cart instantly went over him on
his side as he there seemed all on a heap. but Deponent
did not call to the Carter and does not think he said
the deceased all the other Carts immediately followed
very quick the Drivers of the second and third being on
the near [..] Side of their Horses and The Driver of the lasts,
was standing in his Cart but jumped out just before he can [..] the Spot where deceased and came to [..]
the near side of his Horse.
