off side still endeavouring to pick up the Troner and
almost immediately the near Wheel, of the Cart went over this Body
of the deceased as he lay in length over his left [..] Side from
his Loins to his Light Shoulder and instantly this
Deponent called to the Carter Saying Damn ye you
have Run over the Man but whether he heard him on
not he cannot tell but the Carl and Horses continuing
going on the Same have [..] without stopping at all
and the Carter of the Second Cart, pickard up the Tail
pair of the first Cart, about six Seven Yards before he
came to the spot where the deceased lay, and went on with the
other Two Carts, following nearly the same pane as the
the first Cart but all the other Carters were on the near
Side of the Carts and passed on without Stopping to
taken any Notice of the deceased and South that a
Young Man with a Box coming from London jumped
from the Post path into the Read, to assist to takeup
the deceased and with the Assistance of one Catherine
Webbs

the Bank and then deponent went up to him and
Staid with him till he died which was in about
ten Minutes from the Time the Cart went our him
and Saith That he saw the Name Askton upon
the Trent of the Cart but whether it was drawn
by Three or Tarn Horses cannot tellSouth
That when the Carter belonging to the first Cart
first got out at the Tail of it he immediately went
to the off side and continued on that Side all the way he
went along as Deponent looked after
