good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law required, and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said Eleanor Macdonald< no role >
came to her Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said Eleanor
Mc Donald
< no role > not being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding but
Lunatic and distracted on the Twenty Third Day of January in the
year aforesaid One End of a small Cord to a Hook
in the Lodging Room or apartment of her Husband John Mc Donald< no role >
situate in the parish and County aforesaid And the other End thereof
about her own Neck did fix, tye and fasten And therewith Did then and
there hang, suffocate and Strangle herself Of which said Hanging
suffocation and Strangling she the said Eleanor Mc Donald then and there
Died And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid Do say
That the said Eleanor Mc Donald not being of sound Mind Memory
and Understanding but Lunatic and distracted in Manner and
by the Means aforesaid Did Kill herself

In Witness whereof, as well as the said Coroner, as the said Daniel Mayo< no role > the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
