Informations of Witnesses taken at the precinct
of Bridewell Hospital in the Ward
of Farringdon without in London
the 23d day of July 1799 on view of
the body of a male infant there lying
dead.

Charles Platt< no role > of Bride Court Fleet Street London
Surgeon maketh oath that he has just now seen and
examined the body of the deced. Says it is a Male infant
thereby born and is full grown. That the back part of
it head is much discoloured & appears as ifhadsome
act of violence had been committed upon it, or such
discolouration & appearance might he occasioned by the
p [..] which has taken place in the body of the Child
so by accident whilst the Child was in the River

Samuel Churchill< no role > of Bridewell precinct Clerk
to Mr. Bodicoate maketh oath that yesterday afternoon
Dept saw the body of the deced infant lying in the River
between some legs of Timber. Says it was tied up in
a handkerchief.
