Of Witnesses taken at the Parish of
Saint Bridget at Bride in the Ward of
Farringdon without in London the 20th. day
of June 1797 on view of the body of [..]
Fludale there lying dead

Richard Proutt< no role > a Waiter at Anderton's Coffee
house in Fleet Street maketh oath that last night a
little before 12 Dept went into the stole in the wall
Ale house and after having sat down a little short time
a man a servant in the House came where Dept was and
sayed his Master was dead, on which Dept took a Candle
out of his hand and with some others went up to the deceds
room where he observed the decd who was resting with his
neck on a Girth which was round a curtain pin by one
of the Windows with one of his legs stretched behind him
and the other before and his breech within two or three
inches of the floorSays the decd was quite dead. A Gent
of the faculty was sent for who opened a room of the decd
and tried other means to restoration but to no purpose.

oath that yesterday at difft. times of the day his Master
complained of his Head and sayed his Head was very bad
That towards 7 o clock he told Dept he should go and lay
down and sayed he hoped he should be betterthe two or three
times asked Dept where his Wife was and on depts saying why
you knew Sir she is in the County also she is I have forgot
myself says that about 7 o clock he went up Stairs to lay
