Depositions of Witnesses taken at London that is to say
at the Parish of Saint [..] Gregory by St Pauls in the Ward of Castlebaynard
in London aforesaid this 7th: day of June 1797 on
view of the body of Elizabeth Miller< no role > now here
lying Dead.

Ephraim Buswell< no role > a Servant to Messrs. Lawrence &
Jollands Lordgate Street Linen drapers maketh Oath
that about ¼ past Night on Monday Night last Dept.
coming out of his Masters Shop with a Bar in order to fasten
the shutters a person going had sayed a such had fallen
downDept.went inlooked & saw something lying upon
the foot pavement opposite the Window next Fleet Street
Dept. observing nothing move went in for another Bar & on
coming out some persons sayed a Woman was lying there
Dept. put up the Bars then went to what was lying on the
Pavement and discovered it to be a Woman (the deced) some
persons present lifted up the deceds head Dept. then
discovered it to be a Woman Dept. had seen several times at
Messrs. Jackson Costern< no role > who occupy the upper part of the
House over Dept Masters ShopDept. rang Messrs. Jackson
& CosternsBell and one of their Young Men came down
Dept. afterwards saw her in the passage belonging to Messrs.
Jackson Costern< no role > that she was quite deadThat Blood came
from her Head

Ann Langley< no role > Wife of Joseph Langley< no role > a Cook at the Tuns
in Potter Lane she maketh Oath that she hath known the
deced Elizth. Miller about thirty yearsDept. saw her
on Sunday lastthat she was with Dept. four to ten
that DayThat the deced looked very wild with her Eye
appeared delirious and if Dept. sayed any thing to her she
gave no answer but only sayed never mind it will be all
at end in a short time Dept. really believes upon her Oath
that the deced was deliriousDept. says that the Deced
has appeared very dull and Melancholy this Month past
