London Deposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Saint Bartholomew
the Less in the Ward of Farringdon without in
London aforesaid this 21st. day of June 1796
on view of the Body of Thomas Bunn< no role > now
here lying Dead.

Sarah Wife of John Lanfested< no role > Carpenter lodging in a House No. 18
Forth Building White cross Street in the County of Middx maketh
Oath that she hath known the deced ThomasBuddBunn< no role > about five years
blind of both Eyes that he went about the street begging by himself - that
about ¼ past eleven on Saturday Alan Glass Dept. saw the decd standing
at the corner of Bear drugged staff yard in Whitecross Street and on compton
Cart with three Homes Standing in witness Street near Bear dragged staff yard. that the deced
had a stick in his hand with which he appeared to be feeling the [..]
as if he intended to cross that in feeling with his Stick he touched the Shafthorse
on the Hosp - the Horse stan moved on and turned up into Bear dragged
Staff yard that the deced was forced down by the near wheel of the Cart
and the Wheel went over the deceds left Leg over his Body & over his
Fail that he was taken up by some persons that he was quite
insensible & [..] appeared very much hurt that he was
Placed on a Shutter & taken away in order to be taken to sd. Bartholomew
Hospital where he died as Dept. hasbeen informed in a little time after
