hath known the deced

about twelve Months
that he was a Servant upon likeing to Mr. Varney who lives
Next door to Mr Thompsons and who is a Seal Engraver
that about seven O Clock Yesterday Morning Dept saw the deced
standing upon [..] the top of the Parapet Wall of the
Front of his Masters Housethat a Board was placed against
the Roof of the House and Dept. saw the deced go up the
Board and soon after he came down the Board and stood
upon top of the parapal Wall Dept. called to him and
desired him to take care of himselfthat in a little time
after Dept. heard some person call out Ned Ned Dept
looked thro the Bars of the Window of the Room he was in and
saw a Board lying across the Parapel WallDept. went
down [..] to the two pair of Stairs Room of his Masters House
and on looking out of the Window he saw the deced lying
on the Groundon the Pavement of the Court fronting the
House called New Court
leading to Fleet Lane
that one
or two persons were standing near the decedthat one of the persons
had got a Shutter and was placing the deced on it Dept.
saw the deced this Evening lying Dead in St Bartholomews
